Some of the contents and language of this course has been refined for clarity and consistency using AI, however all contents have been organised, reviewed and finalised by Gradient Institute’s staff and experts.

Trauma Warning: Some of the resources referenced in this course contain material that may cause distress to some people. Please consider this prior to opening the links. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the workplace, enhancing productivity, decision-making, and communication. The popularisation of large language model (LLM) tools (like ChatGPT) have accelerated this. However, with these advancements come risks, including bias, misinformation and security vulnerabilities.

This course is designed as an introduction to responsible AI for staff in organisations adopting AI (especially LLM-based) tools. It is tailored for non-technical people who are new to using AI, but is a good refresher for people of any technical background.

Participants will learn how AI and LLMs work, their benefits and risks, and best practices for responsible AI use.

By the end of this course, you will be able to confidently leverage AI tools like LLMs in a professional setting while ensuring accountability, transparency, and human oversight.
